BourbonCollection.com is operated for bourbon enthusiasts worldwide. Contact: use the address on the site footer or your account email for data requests.

What we collect

Account data (email, username, profile fields), your collection, wishlist, hunt log, tasting notes, and technical logs (IP, user agent) needed to run and secure the service.

Cookies and similar technologies

bourbon_collection_session — session cookie for login and security (strictly necessary).
XSRF-TOKEN — CSRF protection (strictly necessary).
remember_web_* — optional “Remember me” login persistence.
bc_age_verified — remembers that you confirmed legal drinking age (about 30 days).

We do not use non-essential analytics or advertising cookies while SHOW_ADS is disabled. If that changes, we will ask for consent before setting those cookies.

Your rights

You may request access, correction, export, or deletion of your personal data.

Signed-in users can download a ZIP from Settings → Download my data. It includes README.txt plus CSV files: profile, collections, collection entries (including private notes), wishlist, hunt log, tasting notes, and follows. Exports are rate-limited.

You can also export your collection as a separate CSV from the collection page (without private notes). Contact us for other requests.

Retention

We keep account data while your account is active. Logs are rotated per server configuration.
